IBRAHIM ALATIYAH
After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Art Education, acclaimed Kuwaiti artist Ibrahim Jawad Al Atiyah pursued a career to date as a teacher at the Kuwait Formative Art Institute.
He continuously lends his expertise to many publications like Al Nahar and Awan newspapers and has contributed many works to curriculum books issued by the Ministry of Education for schools all over Kuwait.
Ibrahim has enjoyed numerous solo exhibitions in prestigious Kuwaiti galleries like Tilal Gallery and Dar Al Funoon as well as several solo and joint exhibitions in Doha, Dubai, and Riyadh.
His art has been auctioned internationally at London’s ART Space by EMERGEAST and Bonhams UK as well as painting live at Expo Milan 2015 amongst famous Italian artists.
Some of his most memorable commissions have been for the Gate House Bank, Mayfair and the Kuwaiti Parliament House as well as his notable contribution to Abolish 153.
